Even during the winter time, we sometimes want to enjoy delicious cold parfait, don't we? "Winter Parfait Fair (冬のパフェフェア)" is held at the "Milk Garden (ミルクガーデン)" in the "Machimura Farm (町村農場)" until the 17th of March. Let's go to Ebetsu (江別)!

It was snowing today here. How romantic it is!

Just for reference, when you come to the Machimura Farm during the summer time, the scenery is like this↓ If you are interested in the general information about the popular dairy shop, please refer to my other post→

Let's enter the Milk Garden!

Well, well, well, what should we order?

They are serving winter special sets now! We should try them!

They have "Winter Parfait Fair (冬のパフェフェア)" until the 17th of March. Some of them are avairable only during the fair! You should be in a hurry!!

After ordering lunch, we went upstairs. This is a cafe space.

From the winter specials,

first, we tried an "Ice Sweets Fondue Set (アイススイーツフォンデュセット)".

Please dip the fruits into ..............

this special sauce made of Machimura ice cream and cream cheese! Yummy x 2!!!

The set comes with coffee and bread.

Next, we enjoyed a "Camembert Cheese Fondue Set (カマンベールフォンデュセット)".
*They serve only 30 sets a day.

Soup is selectable, and we chose onion soup because this is a winter special soup. *Again, they serve only 30 cups of onion soup a day.

We enjoyed the vegetables and bread with ............

delicious Machimura Camambert cheese! We were super-happy!!

Would you like to try it?

After enjoying the fondue, we left the cheese on the hot plate for a while to make crispy cheese.

Using the time, we ordered a "Garden Special Parfait (ガーデンスペシャルパフェ)". This is served only during the fair!

Look at this! How perfect it is!

It has strawberries, kiwi fruits,

bananas and delicious special pudding. But the most delicious part of this parfait is their soft ice cream. It is very milky and fresh!

Last but not least, we enjoyed crispy cheese!

I really love their delicious dairy!

They use orthodox type Sapporo ramen noodles make by Nishiyama Seimen (西山製麺), one of the traditional ramen noodle companies in Sapporo.

The soup is not too spicy although they say it is spicy! I think it is just right for the winter season!

New Chitose Airport has been renovated recently, and has a lot of recommendable shops & restaurants now. Today I'll show you one of my favorite shops, "Calbee PLUS (カルビープラス)"↓

Calbee is proud of No.1 potato chips share in Japan, and use Hokkaido potatoes for its products. Actually I used to eat its potato chips at least once a week when I was a child. Hahaha!

Look at the shelves↓
The shop sells potato chips not only with typical flavors , but also with unique and rare flavors
Small bags of "Jagariko", a potato snacks, are available here so that we can try several different kinds!

How about "Kappaebisen", a shrimp-flavored flour snacks, one of their flagship products, with several unique flavors, which we cannot find at normal supermarkets? Have you ever tried  curry flavor, Kyusyu soy sauce flavor, laver salt flavor, ginger flavor, wasabi horseradish flavor and so on.......????

Calbee produces regionally marketed potato chips throughout Japan. When you come to this shop, you can get a rare one without travelling! How wonderful the shop is!

Actually I came here today to eat very tasty potato chips. Do you have any idea how unique the chips are? "
A. We can eat freshly-fried potato chips in this shop!
Sounds perfect, doesn't it? Of course the ingredients are carefully selected!!

First we can choose the slice type; thin or thick, and flavors among several kinds; salt butter, two kinds of cheese, and sour cream and so on. They also serve other types potato snacks, soft ice cream, soft drinks and beer.

Well, well, well, let me try "Poteriko (ポテりこ)", a popular potato snacks, first!

Shingari (しんがり)| Ramen Restaurant | Sapporo

Have you heard mazemen, a kind of ramen without soup? If you want to try the new type of delicious ramen, I recommend "Shingari (しんがり)" near Jyozankei (定山渓), a hot spring area in Sapporo.

This ramen restaurant has no signboard, and that's why it is dubbed as a  "hideaway" restaurant among ramen lovers. Hahaha!
Anyway, let's enter it!
They serve only three dishes; today's ramen, char siu bowl, and mazemen.

This is tonkotsu sio ramen (とんこつしおらーめん), today's special.

We can choose the number of char siu from one to six without any additional charge. Of course, I ordered six pieces of tender char siu!!! Hahaha!

The type of noodles is also selectable. The thin noodles go well with pork bone broth with salt flavor!

Look at the sesame-seed oil with grilled garlic in the soup! Yummy x 2!!!

This is a char-siu bowl. Unlike char-siu on samen, it is thicker and broiled! Parfect!!

Last but not least, here comes mazemen, the most popular dish in this restaurant! It is covered with a lot of minced garlic chive. We can select noodle portion from one, one and a half, and two without any additional charge, and of course (!!) I ordered two portions, I mean, a big portion (大盛) as you expect!

Please mix mayonnaise and grated cheese with the mazemen!

Voila!
This is a new type of ramen!!!

Mix x 10!!!
The sauce is a little bit bitter and sour soy sauce-base original one, which fits together with mayonnaise and cheese!

How do you like it?
I'm sure you cannot eat such delicious mazemen in other restaurants!
